This was one of the first high-mountain teas from the Ali San area in the southern mountains of Taiwan. About 20 years ago, Taiwan's tea industry went through a radical change; they stopped producing the old teas that were exported to the west and began focusing on these better oolongs made for the newly prosperous domestic market. Now we all can appreciate the lovely lemony and creamy flavors of this lightly oxidized oolong.
