Algiz · ᛉ

Algiz · ᛉ  Shaped like antlers, or a figure with arms lifted, Algiz is the rune of the guardian. In the Elder Futhark it stands for vigilance, sanctuary, and the line you draw around kin and self. The elk does not seek the fight — but it does not yield ground either. Worn as a quiet ward, for those who keep watch. The piece — Handcast pewter, lead- and antimony-free. About 32mm, the size of a large coin. Black waxed cotton cord, adjustable. Each one cast individually — no two alike. A powerful gift for anyone who holds the line for others — a protector, a parent, a healer, a first responder, or simply someone who has learned where their boundaries are and holds them.
