For spills, always keep the cushion cover on to clean – blot gently with a dry absorbent white cloth without rubbing. Follow the fabric’s specific cleaning code for spill treatment. Brush off and vacuum dirt and dry spills before particulates embed in fabric fibers. Limit fading by using window treatments and avoid placing near heating or air outlets to protect fabric fibers over time. Some fabrics may show occasional pilling with heavy traffic; this does not affect fabric integrity and can be minimized by frequent dust and lint removal. Use a fabric shaving or lint removing tool to remove pills. Flip and fluff seat and back cushions every 3 months to ensure even wear and extend the life of the piece. More frequent fluffing is recommended for homes with kids or pets. Back cushion inserts are horizontally stitched into separate sections to minimize sagging and maintain a neat appearance with regular fluffing. Cushions and pillows have an expected “break-in” period of 30–60 days, depending on use, to reach their final firmness.
