CHRISTIAN DIOR BROWN SHEARLING LACE UP BOOTS 2005

Resurrection is pleased to present a pair of Christian Dior by John Galliano brown shearling lace-up boots from 2005, an iconic example of Galliano’s romantic and adventurous vision for the house. Combining equestrian influences with exaggerated luxury detailing, the design reflects the theatrical spirit that defined Dior during the era. Crafted in distressed brown leather and suede, the boots feature a tall lace-up silhouette trimmed with soft cream shearling throughout. Silver-tone oversized Dior “D” hardware straps wrap around the shaft and vamp, introducing a bold branded element that contrasts against the rustic texture of the leather. The elongated pointed toe and sculpted wedge heel further enhance the dramatic proportions of the design. Intricate front lacing extends the full length of the boot, emphasizing its fitted shape while reinforcing the piece’s corseted, cavalry-inspired aesthetic. The rich patina of the leather, combined with tactile shearling accents and polished hardware, creates a layered interplay between ruggedness and refinement—hallmarks of Galliano’s work for Dior in the mid-2000s. These Christian Dior by John Galliano boots have been carefully curated by Resurrection as part of its luxury vintage collection, representing a rare and collectible example of early 2000s Dior at its most expressive and unmistakably glamorous.
