As with all wood, there could possibly be knots and small flaws in the grain. We do our best to only use wood with the least amount of flaws; however, we cannot guarantee the wood to be flaw-free. This will not affect the purpose of the trays. Thread and cart not included (for photo purposes only) ***PATENT PENDING***   Note: please be aware that the drawers on the Alex units do not open all the way to reach to the back. This might make it where you cannot reach your thread on the last couple of rows without removing the trays. We are trying to figure out a solution - we are checking to see if there is a clip on the drawer slide to enable them to open further. We will continue to include spaces for thread on the last couple of rows because it is storage space. Dimensions of each tray are 10.25"L x 11.50"W x .375"H (except for King Spool tray). Two per set. King spool tray dimensions are 20.50"L x 11.50"W x .375"H made-to-order, please allow 2-3 weeks processing time Ikea Alex 5-drawer unit
