Alden x Brogue Atom Wing Cap Toe Blucher

Features: -Hampton Last -Tan Nubuck (Dead Stock Leather from 90s)  -360 Degree Flat Welt -Single Waterlock Sole    The Atom Blucher was originally part of the Foot Balance System shoe designs. However, it was re-introduced and redesigned on the Hampton last in 2011 by Mr. Arthur Tarlow, the president of Alden company. The Hampton last is an elegant last while still being versatile. It has a fairly high vamp but a narrow body; the total volume is good. I would say it's a comfortable last for most people. Leather: Compared to suede leather, nubuck is thicker and more durable. Nubuck is made from the outside of the leather. It is usually sanded to give it a smoother surface as well. This batch of nubuck leather is dead stock that has been sitting in the Alden factory for a long time, which means this could be the first and last run of this exclusive model for our store. Take them while they are still available.  Fits true to size. Please take half a size larger than your Barrie last. For example, if you wear 8D in the Barrie last, then take 8E or 8.5D in the Hampton last.   Please read before you place the order Alden shoes are crafted with attention to detail in their Massachusetts factory. They still use some old machines that are decades old, with some even over 100 years old, to preserve the beautiful traditional details seen in the good old days. It's important to note that due to the handmade process, some minor imperfections may occur because the shoes are not bench-made using high-tech modern machines with such high precision. These imperfections are part of the unique character of the shoes and should not be seen as flaws. Just like our feet, no two shoes are exactly the same or perfect. If you have any concerns about quality control, we're more than happy to provide pictures before you make a purchase. We want to ensure that you're completely satisfied with your Alden shoes.
