Alan-1 Liquid Death Arcade Redemption Game

The Alan-1 Liquid Death Arcade Redemption Game: where the world's most culturally ferocious water brand meets a precision-engineered commercial arcade cabinet, built by hand in Tooele, Utah. This is the first Liquid Death video game ever made, and it plays exactly as chaotic and competitive as that brand demands. Designed for family entertainment centers, destination barcades, bowling complexes and trampoline parks that want a floor piece people stop, film and play twice. The footprint and the commercial specification rule out most home game rooms, and the copy will not pretend otherwise. About Alan-1 Alan-1 has been engineering original arcade experiences in the United States since 2017. Their Area 52 factory in Tooele, Utah builds every cabinet by hand, from the custom i/oT input output electronics to the hand-applied cabinet artwork. Alan-1 won the IAAPA 2024 Brass Ring Award for their Major League eSports platform, the connected play layer that runs across their entire lineup. They continue to attend the most popular expos every year. Owning an Alan-1 machine means owning something that was designed, built and supported domestically, with no outsourced corners. The Alan-1 Booth at Amusement Expo 2026 The First Liquid Death Video Game Ever Made Liquid Death has built one of the most recognisable brand identities in the beverage world: heavy metal styling, irreverent humour and the tagline Murder Your Thirst. This cabinet is the first time that brand has ever appeared in a video game. Players stand at a bank of four Liquid Death taps while a parade of thirsty customers approaches with rising urgency. Serve them quickly and accurately, fill each cup to the sweet spot for a Perfect Pour, chain Pours together for a score multiplier and fire ice cubes at your opponent to disrupt their rhythm. Let a customer's thirst climb too high and they storm off, and points go with them. Every round runs against a clock. The goal is simple to state and hard to do: serve as many drinks as possible before the clock strikes zero.  That combination of a famous, culturally current brand on a proven tap serving mechanic is the reason this machine earns a crowd before anyone inserts a coin. Operators report players of all ages competing against each other from first contact. Built on a Proven Game Engine Liquid Death is an evolution of Soda Slam, Alan-1's own original title developed with DSM Arcade, which operators have described as performing on par with solid game pieces like Grand Piano Keys and Quick Drop. Alan-1 rebuilt the entire game around the Liquid Death brand, replacing every drink with a Liquid Death flavour, each with its own distinct look and personality, and commissioning a completely reimagined graphic style throughout. The cabinet artwork is hand crafted by Alan-1 studio artist Alejandro Radio, and the in-game graphics were redrawn to sit with Liquid Death's gothic design rather than simply carrying the logo. The result is a game with proven redemption floor mechanics and a brand skin that earns attention no generic title can. It was the centerpiece of Alan-1's booth at IAAPA Expo 2025. Preview of the Liquid Death machine at IAAPA 2025: RGB LED Fill Up Tubes: The Signature Visual Effect Each tap station features RGB LED fill up tubes that illuminate the moment a tap is pressed, rising in color as the cup fills toward a Perfect Pour. This is the element players film and post. The visual feedback is immediate and theatrical, and it turns the act of serving a drink into a light show visible from across the floor, drawing foot traffic without any additional signage. 65 Inch 4K UHD Display The cabinet runs a 65 inch display at 3840 by 2160p, connected to the game PC by HDMI. At 4K resolution the Liquid Death artwork, flavour characters and score graphics are sharp at any viewing distance across a busy floor, not just at arm's length from the screen. Two Player Head to Head Competition Two full player stations sit side by side, each with a 2-way spring loaded leaf switch tap handle joystick. The joysticks are shaped like Liquid Death cans, one for each of the four flavours the game dispenses: Doctor Death, Psycho Cider, Severed Lime and Killer Cola. Each handle carries the artwork of the flavour it pours, so a player reaching for a drink is reaching for a recognisable can rather than a generic control. Head to head play extends average session time, increases spend per visit and fills out the cabinet's footprint with two paying players simultaneously rather than one. Physical Effects: Rumble Motors and Cabinet Knocker Each player station has two rumble motors mounted beneath it, firing on game events to add tactile feedback to the on screen action. A cabinet knocker provides a separate physical impact effect tied to other moments in the game. The combination means Liquid Death communicates through three senses at once: the screen, the audio and the floor under the player's feet. For operators placing this in a venue with other cabinets, that physical layer is what differentiates the experience from a touchscreen game or a standard upright, and it is what keeps players describing the game to friends after they leave. Redemption Ready for FEC Floors The cabinet supports eTicket redemption through a cashless card reader. Two ticket dispenser signal amplifiers ship with every unit, one per player, and they interface with both mechanical and digital ticket dispensers. The cabinet has no slot for a physical ticket dispenser, and installing one is not covered by the warranty. FEC buyers should plan their redemption workflow around cashless card systems from the start. The game also operates purely for points without redemption, giving operators the flexibility to configure it for a bar or barcade floor where a ticket economy does not apply. Payment, Cashless and Bill Acceptor Ready Each cabinet ships with either a payment panel or a standard 2-slot coin door. Where a coin door is fitted, the coin mechs come preset to 25 cents. Free play is available from the operator menu at any time. The cabinet carries one UCL standard 9-pin connector per player, two in total. UCL is the amusement industry's standard card reader connector, which means every major cashless system connects without adapters or splicing. If a venue already runs a cashless card platform, Liquid Death plugs into it directly. A bill validator installation harness ships inside the coin box, packed and ready for operators who want to add a bill acceptor on site. The power cord, IEC type 13, is also packed inside the coin box. MLeS: Free Connected Tournament Play, No Subscription Major League eSports (MLeS) is Alan-1's free mobile app, available on Android and iOS. Players log in with an Alan-1 account to track high scores, earn league points, form teams and compete in official tournaments. They receive a notification whenever someone beats their score on any connected Alan-1 cabinet. An integrated global leaderboard links every connected cabinet to a worldwide pool of competitors. Every Alan-1 release, including Liquid Death, is eligible for the Alan-1 Championship Tournaments, which carry prizes for top performers. It was the MLeS platform that won Alan-1 the IAAPA 2024 Brass Ring Award. Deluxe or Super Deluxe: Which Configuration Fits Your Floor Both configurations run identical game software, the same 65 inch 4K display, the same controls, the same audio, the same physical effects and the same connectivity. The difference is entirely visual presence and floor width. The Deluxe measures 70.5 inches wide. It is the right choice for operators who need a large format piece that fits a defined bay or sits against a wall without consuming neighbouring floor space. The Super Deluxe measures 118.25 inches wide, nearly ten feet, because a pair of giant LED backlit Liquid Death can props flank the monitor on both sides. Those cans make the Super Deluxe visible from the far end of any floor and signal the brand to players before they read a single word on the screen. Both configurations are 96 inches tall and 52 inches deep. Click the 'Add to cart' below to order yours today! Still have a question or concern? Give us a call at 855-924-4457 now! The cabinet does not arrive ready to play. The header, print piece and marquee are all shipped detached and must be fitted before the machine goes live. Alan-1 recommends four people on install day. To assemble the header, join the print piece to the header frame using six 3/8 by 3 inch carriage bolts, washers and nuts, tightened with a 9/16 inch wrench. Fit the marquee by slightly loosening the retaining bolt to open a gap, sliding the marquee into position, aligning it, then re-tightening without overtightening. Place the assembled header on top of the cabinet, secure it with four bolts into the designated slots, and plug the marquee light into the brown extension cord. Before powering on for the first time, open the rear door and confirm that the motherboard, power supply and all internal cables are fully seated after transit vibration. On Super Deluxe units, bolt the can platforms to the side panels using 5/16 inch carriage bolts, then lift each can prop onto its platform with at least two people. Plug the wire harness into the LED port on the bottom of each can, then fit the splash platform blocks and acrylic splash pieces behind the header. A reminder on packaging removal: use scissors, not razor blades. A blade can cut too deep and damage the cabinet surface beneath the protective layers. The RGB LED tubes are the most fragile components on the cabinet and must be lifted away slowly and carefully during unpacking.
