AJR Twisted Locking Dog Bone Loose Ring Bit

We love the Twisted Locking Dog Bone Loose Ring bit. It's perfect as a training or correction bit for experienced riders looking to enhance their control and communication with their horse. Crafted with precision, this loose ring bit features a unique design that transforms from a double broken mouthpiece to a straight bar when pressure is applied to the reins, allowing you to effectively manage horses that tend to go against the hand. Once the pressure is released, the bit seamlessly changes back to its original double-jointed mouthpiece.  Our Twisted Locking Dog Bone Loose Ring bit is specifically designed for horses that become strong or pull against the hand. The locking mechanism engages at a certain angle, providing added stability and control. The double-jointed Dog Bone mouthpiece, resembling its namesake, significantly reduces the nutcracker effect on the horse's mouth, promoting a comfortable and relaxed riding experience, especially for horses with a low palate. As the bit locks, it operates like a straight bar. This twisted mouthpiece proves to be sharper than a smooth standard double-jointed mouthpiece, making it ideal for horses who have become unresponsive to rounded mouthpieces.
