AJR Twisted Locking Dog Bone Kimberwick Bit

We love the twisted Locking Dog Bone Kimberwick bit. It's perfect as a training or correction bit for experienced riders looking to enhance their control and communication with their horse.  Crafted with precision, this bit features a Kimberwick cheek piece design that transforms the mouthpiece from a double broken to a straight bar when pressure is applied to the reins. The Kimberwick cheek piece provides a mild leveraged action, allowing you to effectively manage horses that tend to go against the hand. Once the pressure is released, the bit seamlessly changes back to its original double-jointed mouthpiece. Our Twisted Locking Dog Bone Kimberwick bit is specifically designed for horses that become strong or pull against the hand. The locking mechanism engages at a certain angle, providing added stability and control, further supported by the Kimberwick cheek piece action that enhances communication and responsiveness. The double-jointed dog bone mouthpiece, resembling its namesake, significantly reduces the nutcracker effect on the horse's mouth, promoting a comfortable and relaxed riding experience, especially for horses with a low palate. As the bit locks and operates like a straight bar, it delivers a sharper action than a smooth standard double-jointed mouthpiece, making it ideal for horses who have become unresponsive to rounded mouthpieces.
