AJR Twisted Locking Dog Bone 2 Ring Bit

We love the enhanced control and communication with your horse with the AJR Twisted Locking Dog Bone 2 Ring Bit. Designed for experienced riders, this training and correction bit features a twisted locking dog bone for increased control and responsiveness. Perfect for achieving a precise and effective ride. The Twisted Locking Dog Bone 2 Ring is the perfect training or correction bit for experienced riders looking to enhance their control and communication with their horse. Crafted with precision, this bit features a unique 2 Ring cheek piece design that transforms the mouthpiece from a double broken to a straight bar when pressure is applied to the reins. The 2 Ring cheek piece provides a versatile action, allowing you to effectively manage horses that tend to go against the hand with multiple levels of leverage. Once the pressure is released, the bit seamlessly changes back to its original double-jointed mouthpiece. Our Twisted Locking Dog Bone 2 Ring is specifically designed for horses that become strong or pull against the hand. The locking mechanism engages at a certain angle, providing added stability and control, further supported by the 2 Ring cheek piece action that allows you to adjust the level of pressure depending on your horse's needs. The double-jointed Dog Bone mouthpiece, resembling its namesake, significantly reduces the nutcracker effect on the horse's mouth, promoting a comfortable and relaxed riding experience, especially for horses with a low palate. As the bit locks and operates like a straight bar, it delivers a sharper action than a smooth standard double-jointed mouthpiece, making it ideal for horses who have become unresponsive to rounded mouthpieces.
