AJR Pony Locking Waterford Dee Bit

We love this light, refined, and thoughtfully engineered bit from AJR! The Pony Locking Waterford Dee Bit offers the trusted flexibility of a Waterford mouthpiece without the usual risks of pinching or palate pressure. Its innovative locking mechanism limits movement to a forward and backward motion only, making it an excellent option for low-palate horses.  By removing vertical play, this “pinchless” design helps avoid any unpleasant pinching or collapsing that can occur in standard Waterfords. The locking mechanism further enhances contact, delivering a more focused mouthpiece action for accurate communication between horse and rider. The Dee-ring cheekpiece provides additional stability and prevents the bit from sliding through the mouth, ensuring clear and consistent rein signals. With its smart balance of softness, stability, and precision, the Pony Locking Waterford Dee Bit is an excellent choice for riders seeking a kinder, more refined option for both schooling and competition, perfect for horses that require flexibility without sacrificing control.
