AJR Optimum Control Dog Bone Smooth Locking Pelham Bit

This high-quality bit offers superior control and comfort for both you and your horse. The locks are set at a specific angle, functioning similarly to a Mullen straight bar. The loops that lock on the backside of the mouthpiece prevent backward movement. However, there is still some vertical movement. It engages when your horse applies strength or resists your hand, providing optimal responsiveness. With various rein options, you can adjust the leverage impact on your horse's poll, allowing for accurate and efficient rein aids that affect the tongue, poll, and lower jaw. This versatile Pelham bit is often used in combination with bit converters or with two reins, accommodating horse styles.
