AJR Locking Waterford Loose Ring Bit

We love this accurate and relaxed bit from AJR! Light, refined, and thoughtfully engineered, the Locking Waterford Loose Ring bit offers the trusted flexibility of a Waterford mouthpiece without the usual risks of pinching or palate pressure. Its innovative locking mechanism limits movement to a forward and backward motion only, making it an excellent option for low-palate horses. By removing vertical play, this “pinchless” design helps avoid any unpleasant pinching or collapsing that can occur in standard Waterfords. The locking mechanism further enhances contact, delivering a more focused mouthpiece action for accurate communication between horse and rider. The loose ring design allows for greater freedom of movement in the horse’s mouth, encouraging relaxation and a softer acceptance of the bit. This versatility makes it an excellent choice for riders seeking a refined connection during schooling or competition. With its smart balance of flexibility, softness, and precision, the Locking Waterford Loose Ring is perfect for horses requiring gentle guidance without sacrificing control or communication.
