AJR Leather Hinge 2 Ring Bit

We love the innovation of the Leather Hinge 2 Ring Bit.  This bit features a hinge mechanism that greatly enhances its mobility and responsiveness. The hinge facilitates independent movement of the two sections of the mouthpiece, allowing for more precise and clear signals to be conveyed to the horse. This design significantly reduces the common 'nutcracker' effect of jointed bits and minimizes the risk of pinching the horse's tongue or cheeks, making it a suitable choice for horses with a low palate. At its core, this bit consists of a thin stainless steel wire, reinforced with nylon to ensure durability and strength. Over this, leather is hand-stitched in a manner that keeps the stitching non-abrasive. The interaction with the horse's saliva naturally softens the leather of the bit, enhancing the comfort for the horse. This blend of a flexible mechanism with the appealing taste and texture of leather makes the Leather Hinge 2 Ring Bit especially suitable for horses with sensitive mouths. It's important to fit the bit correctly, ensuring the stitching faces outward towards the mouth opening, to prevent any potential discomfort to the horse.
