AJR Intufixed Nelson Gag Bit

We love the Intufixed Nelson Gag for its stable, supportive feel and the combination of lifting action and lateral guidance, making it a great choice for horses that benefit from improved straightness, balance, and consistent contact. The Intufixed Nelson Gag is designed to offer a firmer, more consistent feel in the horse’s mouth. Made from TPU, the mouthpiece features a softly tapered shape that creates additional room in the mouth while maintaining a more fixed feel. At the core of the mouthpiece is a fixed, non-movable internal wire that gives the bit its structure. Unlike a flexible design, the Intufixed maintains its shape, creating a steady feel and reducing movement in the mouth. The Nelson gag cheekpiece combines lifting action with the added guidance of full cheeks, helping to support straightness and directional control. This can be useful for horses that need more help with alignment, balance, and response in the contact. With its combination of TPU construction, internal firmness, and the action of the Nelson gag cheekpiece, the Intufixed Nelson Gag offers a stable and consistent option for riders looking for more control with a more fixed feel in the mouth.
