Airwave Downwind Front Wings

DESCRIPTION High-aspect downwind front wings These high aspect glider style wings are specifically designed for downwind foiling. The outline and foil profiles combine hydrodynamic efficiency, deliver higher speeds and excellent pump characteristics in downwind conditions. The advantage of a high-aspect wing like this is its efficiency. A flat shape translates to directional stability and a more effective surface in pumping motion, as more surface is equally leveraged. Pro series These foils are based on high-performance windsurf/kite race designs, which the NSP product team adapted for the slower speeds of downwind SUP. The High-aspect wings are part of the pro Front Wing series/ Key design characteristics: - Early take-off and sustained flight - Reduced profile for high-efficiency - Excellent pumping characteristics for downwind racing       Name Weight Width (cm) Width (in) FW 1250 1.00kg 92 36.2 FW 1450 1.08kg 100 39.3 FW 1650 1.69kg 110 43.3 Match with RW 245 For the best performance from your Airwave set, we recommend using the RW 245 with any of the downwind wings, whether it’s 1250, 1450, or 1650.
