The Aircast AirSelect Short Walker is a trusted choice among orthopedic professionals and patients for treating foot and ankle injuries that require stable, short-term to moderate immobilization—without compromising mobility or comfort. Here’s why it stands out: Targeted Support for Lower Leg Injuries Ideal for forefoot, midfoot, and hindfoot injuries, as well as severe ankle sprains, this boot delivers focused protection in a shorter, low-profile design—perfect for patients who don’t require a full-height walker. Personalized Compression with Integrated Aircells Unlike many alternatives, the AirSelect Short includes built-in, adjustable aircells that provide customizable compression without the need for a hand bulb. This helps reduce swelling and enhances support for improved healing. Superior Shock Absorption Featuring SoftStrike™ technology, the boot absorbs and dissipates impact energy at heel strike, minimizing pain and improving patient comfort during each step. Natural Walking Motion The lightweight rocker sole is designed to mimic a natural gait, helping patients move more confidently and reducing stress on the knee, hip, and back during recovery.  Custom Fit and Long-Term Comfort With a heat-moldable, trimmable semi-rigid shell, open-frame design, and three-strap system, the AirSelect Short delivers a secure, breathable, and pressure-distributing fit that enhances compliance.
