Airflo Salmon/Steelhead PolyLeader

Airflo's Polyleaders are made from the same material as the flyline, resulting in better energy transfer to your fly. This provides the ultimate in turnover, allowing you to more easily cast bigger flies or defy the wind. Polyleaders are available in seven sink densities, making them the perfect sink-tips. They feature Airflo's famous factory welded loop at the rear of the leader, with an exposed mono front to tie on your favorite tippet.  Please note: some packaging has recently changed and the pictures here are of the new packaging. The sink rates are slightly different from old packaging to new. The names of the sink rates (in one case) have also changed. We believe that the product has not changed, but the company decided to simplify the packaging with these changes.  Floating, Hover, Intermediate and Slow Sink packaging specifications are unchanged. Examples of changes to the packaging: Old packaging reads Fast Sink = 3.9 inches per second sink rate  New packaging reads Fast Sink = 3 inches per second sink rate Old packaging reads Super Fast Sink = 4.9 inches per second sink rate New Packaging reads Super Fast Sink =5 inches per second sink rate Old Packaging reads Extra Super Fast Sink = 6.1 inches per second sink rate New Packaging reads Extra Fast Sink = 7 inches per second sink rate
