Air Button and Compression Nut

The Gulfstream Spa Pedicure Air On/Off Button, made especially for the jet and discharge pump, will enhance your Gulfstream spa pedicure experience. A compression nut is included with this unique button to ensure a safe and effective installation. Features Air Button: An air button is a pneumatic switch commonly used to control electrical devices remotely, especially in wet environments where using conventional switches might pose safety risks. In the context of pedicure chairs, an air button might be used to control functions such as the chair's massage feature, recline, or other automated movements. It operates by sending a burst of compressed air through a tube to activate or deactivate a corresponding electrical function. Compression Nut: A compression nut is a type of fastener used to secure and create a tight seal between two mating components in a pneumatic or hydraulic system. It typically consists of a threaded cylindrical body with a flared end that compresses against a mating surface when tightened. In the context of a pedicure chair, compression nuts might be used to secure air tubes, hoses, or fittings, ensuring a leak-free connection between components. Usage in Pedicure Chairs: In a pedicure chair, both the air button and compression nut are essential for ensuring the proper operation and safety of pneumatic systems. The air button allows for convenient and safe control of various chair functions without direct electrical contact, while compression nuts ensure secure connections and prevent air leaks that could compromise performance.
