This pattern is a digital download. Designer: Sarah Solomon Ainsworth is an oversized drop shoulder pullover with a saddle. The sweater is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up. The silhouette is based on traditional Aran pullovers and is suitable for a range of body types. Choose your size based on the finished chest measurement and the recommended ease. The cable patterns are simple and easy to memorize, and carefully-planned selvedge stitches simplify sewing the sweater together. A V-neck and patterned saddle add subtle detail to the design, and the double collar provides an elegant finish. Maintain a 1-stitch stockinette selvedge throughout body and sleeves. Schematic indicates measurements of garment pieces before assembly. For best results, the designer recommends using the Sloped Bind Off method (see Special Techniques) for shaping the neck, armhole, and sleeve caps. See more Shear patterns
