LG Washer Seal (AGM30030702)

The LG Washer Seal fits around the washer tub and forms a water-tight barrier where moving parts pass through the tub. It helps keep wash water inside the machine while the drum spins and agitates. It also helps reduce water and detergent residue from reaching internal bearings and drive components. Failure often starts from wear and friction during normal use. Detergent buildup, grit, or small items caught near the sealing surface can damage the sealing lip. Overloading, harsh cleaners, and age can cause the rubber to harden, crack, or lose its shape. Once the seal no longer seats tightly, water can escape and moisture can reach nearby parts.
