After the Rain

After the Rain — BRUME Collection | Jay Bryant WardA hush settles over the water after the storm passes. After the Rain captures that suspended moment in early spring when a wide river — or perhaps a flooded plain — lies perfectly still, reflecting the bare limbs of birch and willow trees in its pale, glassy surface. Heavy cumulus clouds drift across the upper sky while rolling, forested hills dissolve softly into the mist beyond. Rendered in a restrained palette of cool grays, warm tans, and quiet greens, this painting draws from the tradition of 19th-century Russian and Eastern European landscape masters — the brooding atmosphere of Levitan, the luminous stillness of Kuindzhi. It is an image that rewards slow looking. Part of the BRUME collection by artist Jay Bryant Ward, this print brings Old World depth and quiet drama to a study, living room, or any space that calls for something more thoughtful than decorative. Printed on gallery-quality fine art paper or canvas to archival standards. Ratio: 4x3 Horizontal Collection: BRUME Artist: Jay Bryant Ward Available in multiple sizes and substrates
