Van Gogh | Head of a Skeleton with a Burning Cigarette Phone Case

Painted in 1886 during his time in Antwerp, Belgium, Vincent van Gogh's Head of a Skeleton with a Burning Cigarette is considered a juvenile joke and still revered today. Painting skeletons was not part of the curriculum at Van Gogh's art academy. Because of this, he must have made this painting between or after his lessons. This is how we coined the name for this case, "After Hours." Admire Van Gogh's "after hours" masterpiece, Head of a Skeleton with a Burning Cigarette, with this limited edition Casely x Van Gogh Museum skeleton phone case. © Van Gogh Museum Vincent van Gogh, Head of a Skeleton with a Burning Cigarette (detail), Antwerp, January-February 1886, Oil on canvas, 32.3 cm x 24.8 cm Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam (Vincent van Gogh Foundation) The Casely x Van Gogh Museum® collaboration works to represent the full and prolific life of a brilliant artist and his timeless collection.
