African Stone Lithops

The African Stone Lithops, often called "living stones," are marvels of nature known for their remarkable camouflage and desert adaptability. Light Requirements: African Stone Lithops thrive in bright, direct sunlight. They are adapted to intense sunlight typical of their native desert habitats. Place them in a south-facing window or another location where they can receive at least 4-6 hours of direct sunlight daily. Watering Needs: These succulents are highly drought-tolerant and require minimal watering. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings, especially during their dormancy period (typically in late summer to early fall). When watering, do so sparingly and avoid getting water on the plant itself, as it can lead to rot. Humidity Preferences: African Stone Lithops prefer low humidity environments, similar to their natural desert habitats. They thrive in dry air and well-ventilated spaces. Avoid placing them in areas with high humidity or where there's poor air circulation, as this can encourage fungal issues. Caring for African Stone Lithops is a rewarding experience, offering a glimpse into the resilience and beauty of desert-adapted plants.
