Afnan 9PM Night Out

9pm Night Out is Afnan's newest flanker in the popular 9pm collection, launched in 2026 and created by Quentin Roussel and Imran Fazlani — described by the house as "a statement of confidence, created for nights that leave a lasting impression." This unisex fragrance is crafted for those unforgettable evenings when the city lights call your name, blending rich Middle Eastern heritage with modern elegance. The opening blends an unusual dragon fruit note with bergamot, cognac, lavender and apple, creating a contrast between bright freshness, soft aromatic facets and a liqueur-like nuance. It opens with a fresh, fruity and slightly boozy feel, then as it develops, it becomes warmer and spicier, with cardamom, suede and a soft sweetness. The heart features toffee, mahonial — a modern synthetic that adds clean, luminous floral depth — and suede, giving the fragrance a refined, textured character that balances playful sweetness with sophistication. The base notes leave a lasting impression with deep, earthy patchouli, creamy tonka bean, and the modern warmth of ambrofix and akigalawood — together creating a long-lasting scent trail that feels both luxurious and magnetic. Most wearers report 8 to 10+ hours of longevity, with noticeable projection during the first few hours — as an extrait de parfum, it offers stronger performance than standard eau de parfums. Community comparisons land most often on Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau Le Parfum layered with Azzaro Wanted Forever Elixir, with others noting the fruity-leather-sweet DNA that makes this feel distinctly modern and boldly wearable. If you're curious about Afnan's best-selling 9pm line but want something fruitier, more contemporary, and elevated with extrait performance, this is exactly why a decant is the smartest way to experience it first.
