ABOUT THE ARTIST Piero di Cosimo (2 January 1462[1] – 12 April 1522), also known as Piero di Lorenzo, was an Italian painter of the Renaissance. He is most famous for the mythological and allegorical subjects he painted in the late Quattrocento; he is said to have abandoned these to return to religious subjects under the influence of Savonarola, the preacher who exercised a huge sway in Florence in the 1490s, and had a similar effect on Botticelli. The 1/2 inch thick sublimation panel provides superior image reproduction as well as scratch, abrasion and stain resistance. ChromaLuxe MDF panels are sourced from renewable forestry wood supplies and then coated with White Gloss finish with a lifetime resistance to yellowing and climate damage. ABOUT "AFFRESCO" Any art lover as well as anyone that visited Italy must have had the opportunity of appreciating an affresco painting since most prominent ancient Roman paintings consist of affresco; as do the holy stories depicted within medieval churches; and so too are the magnificent decorations found within the halls of villas dating from the fifth, sixth and seventh centuries. The affresco painting method is the basis for the most impressive mural works of Italian art and is considered to be the most widely used artistic technique during the Renaissance period by world known artists such as: Botticelli, Michelangelo, Raffaello, Signorelli and Piero Della Francesca and more... WHAT IS SUBLIMATION? Full-color sublimation printing is a printing technique that allows you to produce high-quality graphics and photographs on a variety of products such as mugs, tumblers, tiles, bottles, and more. The process of sublimation fuses the printed graphic to the blank item, making the finished transfer very durable with no fading.
