Ibanez AE100BUF AE Series Acoustic Electric Guitar in Burgundy Flat

DESCRIPTION Introducing the Ibanez AE100, a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation in the realm of acoustic-electric guitars. Crafted as part of the flagship AE series, this instrument pays homage to the rich acoustic guitar tradition while embracing the demands of contemporary musicians seeking supreme tone and playability. At the heart of the AE100 lies the Comfort Grip Nyatoh neck, offering a contour that ensures superior playability, inviting musicians to explore their musical boundaries with ease. The Laurel fretboard contributes to the guitar's rich and warm tonal character, providing a delightful playing experience. A cornerstone of this acoustic-electric masterpiece is the Solid Sitka Spruce top, delivering an expansive frequency range that produces shimmering highs, tight mids, and a full-bodied low end. Complementing this is the Okoume back and sides, generating a woody, warm tone when played softly or finger-picked, and offering punchy high-mids with clear projection during strumming. The AE100 is equipped with the powerful Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle pickup, ensuring an accurate translation of the guitar's full sound to any amplification system. The Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp adds a punch of on-board EQ, complete with a convenient digital tuner and 2-band EQ, enhancing the versatility of the guitar and making it suitable for various playing styles. Innovative design extends to the Laurel Scalloped bridge, a lightweight structure that improves vibration efficiency, leading to better resonance and providing flexibility in adjusting the action. The Ibanez Advantage™ bridge pins offer practical advantages, making pin removal and insertion effortless while ensuring stability. Beyond the regular features, the AE100 boasts special features that elevate its sonic prowess. The A.I.R.port enhances resonance, and the unique X-M Bracing—born from years of trial-and-error—creates a clear bottom, crispy treble sound, and a trimmed warm mid-range. The distinctive AE body shape, designed for projection, balance, and comfort, ensures an instrument that stands out on the stage, offering the best of all worlds for the discerning musician.
