Advanced Rainwater Test

Recommended for thorough water quality testing for rainwater collected in a catchment or other rainwater harvesting system. This testing package covers all of the baseline contaminants recommended for rainwater harvesting, and is particularly recommended for rainwater collected in systems with plastic components. While rainwater often begins very clean, it may pick up an array of metals, minerals, and bacteria as it collects and transports through a rainwater collection system. If safely configured, rainwater harvesting can provide high-quality water for drinking, livestock, and irrigation. Testing harvested rainwater is always advised to ensure safety and can help you make informed decisions regarding additional treatment (if needed). This package provides all required materials to properly collect and submit a rainwater sample for certified laboratory testing. The results will include detailed analysis of common water health concerns related to natural water chemistry and common catchment system plumbing materials.
