ADR Concepts Interior Backing Plate for Scanstrut DS-H-MULTI Cable Seal - Builder Pack

This ADR Concepts Interior Backing Plate is designed to provide a clean, strong, and professional backing surface for the Scanstrut DS-H-MULTI weatherproof cable seal. Instead of relying on self-tapping screws into thin or uneven interior material, this plate gives the bolts a solid threaded anchor point behind the surface. The result is a cleaner install, a stronger mount, and a more professional finish for van electrical systems, solar wiring, antenna cables, Starlink wiring, lighting systems, and other cable pass-through applications. Built for Clean Campervan Cable Pass-Through Installs Many campervan builds require cables to pass through the roof, ceiling, cabinetry, or fiberglass shell. The Scanstrut DS-H-MULTI is a trusted option for creating a weatherproof cable seal, but the included self-tapping screws are not always ideal for thin panels or finished interiors. This backing plate allows the installer to bond the plate to the interior side of the surface and then fasten the Scanstrut cable seal into the pressed-in lock nuts using the included bolts. This creates a cleaner, more secure mounting method without driving self-tapping screws directly into thin ceiling material. Key Features DS-HDMULTI-specific fitment: Designed to match the Scanstrut DS-H-MULTI cable seal, including the bolt pattern, center clearance, and overall layout. Interior backing support: Provides a solid threaded anchor point behind the mounting surface for a cleaner and stronger cable seal installation. Alternative to self-tapping screws: Helps avoid driving self-tapping screws directly into thin ceiling material, uneven panels, or finished interior surfaces. Campervan and marine use: Suitable for cable pass-through installs in campervans, boats, roof panels, cabinets, fiberglass shells, and marine bulkheads. Carbon fiber-reinforced plastic: Made from rigid carbon fiber-reinforced plastic for a lightweight backing plate with a strong structure. Pressed-in lock nuts: Includes pre-pressed lock nuts that allow the Scanstrut cable seal to be fastened with bolts from the exterior side. Adhesion-focused surface pattern: Designed to support improved bonding contact with the mounting surface. Cable routing applications: Works for solar wiring, Starlink wiring, antenna cables, lighting systems, and other electrical cable pass-through needs.
