Adonis - Oregano Crushed 71g (Case of 12)

Often considered the foundation of Greek and Italian cuisine, oregano can serve a critical purpose in Middle Eastern dishes, too. Derived from the dried leaves of the Origanum perennial. Oregano is an aromatic spice that lends food a slightly bitter, pungent flavor. Somewhat earthy with a few notes of mint, Oregano offers a slightly astringent taste and is popular on pizza, spaghetti, and tomato sauces. In more traditional Mid-Eastern cuisine, Oregano makes a great addition to baked fish and Za’atar spice mixes. Add it to your favorite hummus, cook it into your Falafel entrée, or incorporate it into your tomato mix with your tabbouleh! This versatile spice can be used in most preparations without conflicting or compromising other flavors.
