Adidas Metalbone Superlight 2026 Padel Racket

The Adidas Metalbone Superlight 2026 Padel Racket introduces a high-performance lightweight option into Adidas’s flagship Metalbone family. Built for players who demand the head-heavy power punch of the Metalbone platform without the physical strain or heavier swing weight, the Superlight combines explosive carbon construction with enhanced hand speed and maneuverability. Unlike the standard Metalbone 3.4 or HRD+ models (which sit around 360–375g), the Superlight is specifically engineered in a reduced weight bracket while preserving structural rigidity through Metalbone’s signature perimeter technology. Performance Profile Explosive Power: High. The Diamond Oversize shape and head-heavy weight distribution leverage centrifugal force on overheads, making smashes and aggressive viboras hit with notable power despite the reduced overall mass. Maneuverability & Hand Speed: Maximum. The reduced static weight allows for rapid transitions at the net, fast defensive block volleys, and quick wrist flicks when scrambling out of the corners. Touch & Firmness: Balanced-to-Firm. Rigid Carbon Fiber faces paired with an EVA Soft Performance core create a responsive, clean hit—offering a crisp contact feel without feeling excessively stiff or harsh on the joint. Torsional Stability: High. Features Metalbone’s signature Octagonal Structure technology—an eight-corner tubular carbon section along the frame—which prevents frame twisting on high-energy impacts and off-center hits. Best Suited For Advanced & Intermediate Attackers: Players seeking a power-oriented diamond frame who prefer light handling for faster net reactions and easier swing acceleration. Arm-Conscious Power Players: Competitors who love the offensive geometry of the Metalbone line but require a lighter frame to avoid shoulder or elbow fatigue over long matches. Aggressive Left-Side Playmakers: Players who dominate at the net through quick reactions, overhead acceleration, and fast counter-attacking play.
