Adenia volkensii

Adenia volkensii Family: Passifloraceae. A nice caudiciform shrub or woody vine from East Africa with red and green mottled stems. This species is  closely related to Passion Flowers (sorry, these have tiny flowers!).  The leaves are rounded when young but soon it starts producing interesting lobed leaves. Water regularly during the growing season. When it goes dormant keep dry over the winter then water again when it warms up in the spring. Should be able to take full sun, but watch for sunburn until it is acclimated to your situation. Protect from frost. You will receive a plant shown in the last image or one similar.   It is shown growing in a 3.5" pot.  Important Shipping Information PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply. Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting. No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though. Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me. Thank you!
