Adding and Subtracting a Thousand

Skipping Your Way Through Addition and Subtraction Adding and subtracting a thousand is almost as easy as adding and subtracting one, you just have to know which digit to increment or decrement. This workbook makes it easy by providing guidance from a ten thousands board. The student adds or subtracts one thousand in the Number Lake with the aid of a color-coded ten thousands board. This encourages the student to draw on their skill of skip counting in thousands as a means to add or subtract a thousand from any number. Media Type (PDF Download or Digital only) Available in printable or digital format. The printable format is ideal for color printers and completion by hand.
