AdBlue/DEF Module Cleaning Kit

Jaltest AdBlue/DEF Module Cleaning Kit for Commercial Vehicles (SKU 50105190) — $995 The Jaltest AdBlue/DEF Module Cleaning Kit (part 50105190, $995) is professional shop equipment for cleaning crystallized AdBlue/DEF residues from dosing modules, injector lines, and injectors on commercial trucks and Euro 6 vehicles. DEF crystallization is one of the most common causes of SCR system failures — when urea deposits build up in the dosing module or injector, they restrict flow, cause dosing errors, and trigger cascading fault codes that lead to derate conditions. This kit gives shops the capability to clean and restore SCR dosing systems rather than replacing expensive components that are fundamentally sound but coated in crystallized urea. Compatible AdBlue/DEF Systems Per the official Jaltest 2025 pricelist, part 50105190 applies to the following system types on commercial vehicles: Bosch Denoxtronic 2.2 and Denoxtronic 6-HD — used on CUMMINS, NAVISTAR, and PACCAR engines; also found on some agricultural and OHW equipment AdBlue/DEF Cummins Ecofit UL2 system — used on CUMMINS, DETROIT DIESEL, NAVISTAR, and PACCAR engines; also found on some agricultural and OHW equipment Albonair AdBlue/DEF system — used on VOLVO and MACK trucks (EPA13/US14 and newer) and other engines based on the Volvo V3 Electrical System What Causes DEF Crystallization AdBlue/DEF is a 32.5% urea solution. When it sits in a hot dosing module after shutdown — or when a dosing system fails to purge correctly — the water evaporates and leaves urea crystals behind. Over time, deposits restrict or block the injector, damage the dosing pump, and cause the SCR system to throw fault codes. Trucks enter derate, and what started as a clogged injector becomes a complex fault investigation. The Jaltest cleaning kit targets the root cause directly. Cleaning Kit vs. Component Replacement A new Bosch Denoxtronic dosing module costs several hundred to over a thousand dollars depending on application, plus labor to remove, replace, and recalibrate. The Jaltest cleaning kit at $995 is a tool investment — used repeatedly across multiple vehicles, it pays for itself on the first or second successful cleaning job. Clean the system, verify with Jaltest diagnostics, and return the truck to service without replacing components that can be restored.
