ACSL SOTEN Thermal Bundle Plus [Rapid Deployment]

The ACSL SOTEN Thermal Bundle Plus builds on the Mission Bundle with integrated radiometric thermal capability. You get the latest-generation SOTEN airframe with dual-band 2.4 GHz + 5.8 GHz links and the TAITEN Smart Controller—plus the included SAMO Thermal Camera for mission-grade EO/IR imaging. It’s a compact, NDAA-compliant platform designed for public safety, utilities, and inspection teams that need reliable links, secure data handling, and clear visuals day or night. SOTEN: Secure, Swappable, Mission-Ready Dual-Band Aircraft Radios: 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz (previously 2.4 GHz-only) for resilient control and video. Made-in-Japan security: architecture designed around ISO/IEC 15408 principles with AES-256 encrypted links. One-touch Swappable payloads: standard 20 MP visible camera with swappable thermal (SAMO), multispectral, and optical-zoom options.I Included TAITEN Smart Controller: 7" 1500-nit display, faster compute, IP54 chassis, rich I/O, Android 13 Thermal on board: SAMO payload (FLIR Hadron 640R) delivers radiometric 640×512 thermal + 64 MP visible Flexible ops: optional LTE connectivity and offline maps for remote areas and disconnected workflows. Team Workflows: pair up to three controllers to one aircraft for instructor/payload/handoff operations TAITEN: Field-Ready Ground Control See clearly, respond faster. TAITEN’s integrated 7" 1500-nit 1200×1920 panel stays readable in full sun, while a faster platform running ACSL TAKEOFF tightens the feedback loop for flight, gimbal, and camera inputs. The balanced chassis and up to 8-hour runtime (extendable via USB-C power) support long missions without juggling accessories. Links & Security: ACSL Fides-Link with AES-256 encryption. Dual-band 2.4 GHz + 5.8 GHz. Unobstructed 6+ mile* operating range where permitted. I/O for the Real World: HDMI video out, USB-C, USB-A 2.0, microSD, Ethernet, 3.5 mm, tripod mount. Sensors & UX: GNSS module, ambient light sensor (auto-brightness), microphone, link/battery LEDs, vibration motor. Multi-Operator: pair up to 3 controllers per aircraft for training or dedicated payload operation. SAMO Thermal Payload Radiometric thermal + high-resolution visible. The SAMO payload integrates Teledyne FLIR’s Boson® 640×512 (12 µm) with a 64 MP visible sensor (≈67° HFOV) and a 20× optical zoom path on the visible channel. Typical thermal sensitivity is <20 mK with accuracy of ±5 °C (0–100 °C), enabling confident anomaly detection and temperature capture for inspections and search operations. Radiometric capture: precise temperature data from the 640×512 Boson® core Dual-stream performance: full-resolution output at 60/30 Hz (subject to regional limits) Image science: compatible with FLIR Prism™ ISP/AI (contrast enhancement, turbulence mitigation, super-resolution, detection/tracking) Overlay roadmap: MSX® thermal-visible fusion planned via Thermal by FLIR® collaboration Field-ready module: IP54 (module-level), −20 °C to 60 °C operating, ≈56 g, ≈50×36×43 mm Power-efficient: ~1.8 W typical, ≤2.9 W max Compliant: NDAA, ITAR-free module, FCC Part 15 Class B (module) Frame rate may be limited by regional export rules. Some features (e.g., MSX®) depend on firmware/software updates. Operate Anywhere Protected by made-in-Japan secure drone technology Security measures based on ISO15408* are applied to prevent data leakage and extraction and to provide resistance to hijacking. Major parts of the aircraft are either domestically produced or procured from highly reliable overseas sources. Security is enhanced with encrypted communications. Acquired data can optionally be encrypted and managed in the Japanese cloud. *International Standard for Computer Security One-Touch-Swappable Camera ACSL SOTEN employs a swappable camera system, a first for a small aerial photography drone, enabling a wide array of camera options. Standard 20 MP Visible: 1"-class imaging with mechanical shutter for mapping and inspection clarity. SAMO Thermal: NDAA-compliant EO/IR for search, utilities, and night operations. Mission-specific: swap to multispectral or optical-zoom modules in seconds with the one-touch mount. Extensive Scalability, including Closed Network LTE Communication and Offline Maps With the use of LTE communications, SOTEN can be controlled over the internet, enabling autonomous beyond-visual-line-of-sight (level-3) operations in remote areas such as mountainous terrain and inside industrial plants. The use of offline maps allows the ground control software application to display maps and manage autonomous flight, even in environments where internet access is not available. An adapter for mounting the camera on the top of the drone, enabling the inspection of infrastructure from below, is currently under development. Optional LTE enables remote tele-ops and situational awareness in hard-to-reach areas, while offline maps keep planning and autonomy available when coverage drops. The compact, folding airframe travels easily and is built for field conditions. *Range varies with regulations, environment, interference, and antenna orientation. Safe & Capable Flight Performance With a maximum airspeed of 15 m/s, SOTEN is capable of safe flight in severe conditions, such as natural disasters. SOTEN is also equipped with SLAS/SBAS (sub-meter positioning augmentation from the Michibiki quasi-zenith satellite system), which can provide more accurate positioning information in Japan, enabling safer takeoff and landing in situations where accurate positioning information is required, such as disaster response.
