Acropower

AcroPower (by Two Little Fishies) is a liquid amino acid supplement designed for reef aquariums, especially SPS coral systems like Acropora (which is where the name comes from). It provides free-form amino acids, which are the building blocks of proteins that corals use for growth, coloration, and tissue repair. What it does: Feeds corals directly with dissolved amino acids Enhances SPS coral growth and polyp extension Can improve color intensity, especially blues, purples, and pinks Supports overall coral metabolism and healing How it works: Corals absorb amino acids directly from the water column and through their tissues. AcroPower supplements what corals normally get from fish waste, feeding, and zooxanthellae photosynthesis, especially in low-nutrient reef tanks. Key benefits: Boosts SPS (Acropora, Montipora, etc.) growth rates Encourages better polyp extension (PE) Helps corals in ultra-low nutrient systems (ULNS) Easy liquid dosing—no mixing required How it’s used: Typically dosed daily or several times per week Added directly to the tank in small amounts Works best with moderate lighting and stable nutrients
