The top of each cup is hand tooled to resemble an acorn. Simple assembly with just a pair of pliers is required. Each rain chain comes with a matching v-hook. The v-hook sits inside the gutter opening to hold the rain chain in place. Installation Tip: The connecting wires have threaded end nuts. We recommend dabbing a small amount of Loctite® Blue adhesive on each end nut to prevent them from unfastening. Available at any hardware or home improvement store.
