Accutron Stainless Steel Legacy Unisex Watch 2ES8A001

Reimagined for a new generation, the Accutron DNA showcases the precision of the proprietary electrostatic energy movement, with its intricately engineered motor and turbine system that generates power and the forward glide of the second hand. This is a luxury men’s watch made to work hard, and look great. MOVEMENT Accutron's Proprietary Electrostatic Movement. The electrostatic energy is created by twin turbines that rotate as a result of human motion at incredible speeds between two electrodes affixed to the movement. The energy, stored in an accumulator, powers two motors; a world’s first electrostatic motor fueling the fluid second hand and a step motor powering the hour and minute hands. Power saving function: To ensure power saving, the second hand automatically stops at 12 o'clock after 5 minutes of non activity. Your timepiece continues to keep time, the hour hand and the minute hand keep moving. When you would like to see the second hand's motion, please swing arm fully up and down for 3 to 5 seconds. Once powered, the second hand gradually returns to the current second indication and the power save function is canceled. WATCH DIAL Signature Accutron green accents on the outer minute ring. Silver-grey open-work dial and polished silver-tone hands. WATCH CASE Stainless steel case in combo silver-tone and grey finish with stamped Accutron logo and turbine design on the case back.
