Accumulator Tank

Accumulator Tank : Add this accumulator tank kit to your RO or RODI system's pure water line to ensure your system shuts down. Sometimes long tubing runs to our fridge, long tubing runs to our float valve (vat, container, mixing station, etc) can cause any RO system to have a hard time shutting down. IF your system has a pump installed, this causes additional problems. By adding this accumulator tank to your pure water line, we increase the pressure of the line and your pump will stop rapid cycling and constant drain water, saving the life of your prefilters and membrane. In operation, any RO pump is not supposed to pulsate more than a couple times a minute. Rapid pulsations can damage the pumps pressure switch (microswitch) and cause premature failure.    This is a pulsation dampening device as it is a pressurized small bladder tank that is used after this switch on the pump… this dampens the rapid cycling…stop constant drain water! Extend the life of your filters. Standard Features : The Accumulator tank uses 3/8" quick connect fittings. Most of our systems and products are standard 1/4". To adapt this accumulator tank to your setup you will need to make your 1/4" tubing run all 3/8" tubing (link here!) OR buy 2 reducing unions (3/8" to 1/4") (link here!)
