With a compact, mechanically minimal footprint for ease of placement, the pencil-thin AC-EX70-UHD-KIT has deservedly earned its reputation as a mainstay in our extender lineup with a proven track record for unparalleled reliability and flawless transport of HD & UHD video signals. The AC-EX70-UHD-KIT provides uncompressed signal delivery (up to the HDBaseT maximum of 10.2 Gbps) from intermediate thru moderate distances determined by signal type, for around-the-clock, failure-free operation in mission critical commercial environments like Control Rooms, Data Centers, Conference Rooms, or educational campuses. Referencing Cat 6A wire, 1080P HD signals confidently travel point-to-point, two hundred and thirty feet, and 4K UHD signals 4K60 4:2:0 or 4K30 4:4:4, accurately navigate one hundred fifteen feet. VESA resolutions up to QSXGA are also transportable. Power for the kit is bidirectional and may be applied at the transmitter or receiver chassis locations. Creative residential applications might include using a former IR control wire at a projector replacement location to retire a DVI or first generation HDMI cable, and then taking advantage of the AC-EX70-UHD-KIT onboard IR pass-through or RS-232 communication bus for sending control signals to the new projector. Patio TVs maintain a sleek, uncluttered appearance using the AC-EX70-UHD-KIT, able to be easily and securely covered, as source products remain indoors eliminating low hanging, clumsily-fashioned accessory shelves. System operation is conveniently exchanged by the bantam-sized AC-EX70-UHD-KIT’s bidirectional control options. ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection adds a welcomed layer of defense for all connected products. Never again will you become perplexed by fussy EDIDs in displays or repeaters such as AVRs with the AC-EX70-UHD-KIT’s engineered-in, problem-solving EDID management. Fourteen pre-configured common EDIDs for legacy HD and newer UHD 4K displays reside onboard, plus EDID copy and EDID bypass, all available to conquer quirks in system synergy.
