Abstract Art Tee Shirt

This abstract art tee shirt features a black man and women in the red, green, black and gold, the colors of the Pan-African map with a splash of yellow. This shirt is designed to honor two important dates in African American history, June 19, 1865 and July 2, 1964.   The year 1865 marks a significant event in American history - the announcement of freedom for slaves in the state of Texas. Known as Juneteenth, this 19th day is now widely recognized and celebrated as a symbol of African American independence. It was almost 100 years later that another landmark moment in civil rights history occurred. In 1964, the Civil Rights Act was passed, prohibiting discrimination in public accommodations and federally funded programs. These two key events serve as important reminders of the struggles and triumphs of African Americans throughout history. The abstract art tee shirt features the colors of red, green, black, gold, and yellow which represents the Pan-African flag and serves as a visual representation of these significant moments in time. The soft-style abstract art tee shirt  puts a new spin on casual comfort. Made from very soft materials, this tee is 100% cotton for solid colors. Heather colors and sports grey include polyester. The shoulders have twill tape for improved durability. There are no side seams. The collar is made with ribbed knitting to prevent curling damage.
