ABS-GF Filament - Purple

Decent ABS-GF in Purple is glass-fiber reinforced ABS filament for stiff, functional printed parts with a matte, layer-hiding finish. Use it when plain ABS is too flexible or warpy and you want an engineering-filament look with a visible purple color. Why choose ABS-GF over plain ABS? Added stiffness: glass fiber reinforcement helps reduce flex in brackets, mounts, printer parts, jigs, fixtures and enclosures. Better dimensional stability: glass-filled ABS is used when parts need to stay flatter and hold shape better than standard ABS. Purple finish: a functional color for visible printer mods, prototypes, shop fixtures and color-coded parts. Specifications Brand: Decent Material: ABS-GF — glass-fiber reinforced ABS Color: Purple Product type: 3D-printer filament spool Nozzle note: glass-filled filament is abrasive; use a hardened or wear-resistant nozzle such as the Phaetus hardened steel V6-style nozzle. Best use Pick this for functional parts where stiffness, dimensional stability and a matte technical finish matter more than glossy cosmetics: printer components, mounts, brackets, covers, fixtures and enclosure parts. Printing notes Use an enclosure and ventilation. ABS-based filament is draft-sensitive and gives off ABS odor/VOCs while printing. Use a hardened nozzle. The glass fiber fill will wear brass nozzles quickly. Dry and tune before production prints. If you see popping, steam, stringing or fuzzy surfaces, dry the spool before dialing in a long job. Buyer note: “Printed a few objects so far out of this. It prints great and seems to be pretty strong!” What it is not Not a beginner PLA replacement; treat it like an engineering ABS material. Not for brass nozzles unless you accept accelerated nozzle wear. Exact glass-fiber percentage, net filament weight, diameter and print profile are not stated on the current product record, so match your slicer profile by material family and test first.
