(Mature Size: 24"T x 46"W) American Hosta Growers Hosta of the Year 2014, Hosta 'Abiqua Drinking Gourd' is an extremely distinct cultivar due to the heavily corrugated, deeply cupped and unruly foliage. Hosta 'Abiqua Drinking Gourd' sets the standard for deeply cupped leaves! This hosta is slow to reach its mature size but is worth the wait. Give this hosta a shady location with deep fertile soil plus adequate moisture and you will be rewarded! Abiqua is pronounced ab-ih-kwa. This hosta blooms with white flowers June to July. Why Should I Grow It? To see the leaves hold water after a rain! Beautiful cupped blue foliage! (Walden West 1989) Large Hosta Cultivar (Hosta 'Tokudama' x Hosta sieboldiana) Color: Deep Blue Size: 24 inches tall by 46 inches wide Type: Slug Resistant Blue Hosta Product Sizes: Available in 4.5 Inch Container, 35 mm Starter Plug, Two Gallon
