The Abalone brooch is handcrafted in the Mosquito atelier with an abalone shell and mother-of-pearl beads. The beads are strung with silk thread and individually knotted by hand—a traditional technique that enhances both the durability and elegance of the piece. The brooch component is entirely crafted in Italy from sterling silver and finished with a 3-micron 18k gold bath. Each piece is crafted slowly and intentionally, with subtle variations and imperfections that reflect its artisanal, one-of-a-kind nature. Avoid contact with water, perfumes, alcohol, or abrasive substances. Shells can react to impact like glass, so handle with care. Made in Spain.
