Aasana Berry Blast Tea

AASANA is a wellness-focused herbal tea line from G.E. Barbours, a Canadian food company founded in 1867 in Saint John, New Brunswick, and one of the country's oldest continuously operating food businesses. Barbours introduced the King Cole Tea brand in 1910 and has been blending tea ever since. AASANA is the company's modern herbal offshoot, distinguished by one genuinely unusual feature: every blend is infused with Bcalm L-Theanine, making it the first herbal tea range to combine plant-based botanicals with this naturally occurring amino acid, long associated with calm focus and relaxation. Berry Blast brings together hibiscus petals, apple, elderberry, rosehip, lemongrass, and grenadine in a bright, fruit-forward blend that is entirely caffeine free. It brews to a vivid ruby-red colour and is best enjoyed without milk, either hot or over ice. The L-Theanine addition gives it a functional edge beyond simple flavour, making it a solid choice for an evening wind-down or a mid-afternoon break. Each box contains 18 individually wrapped tea bags. How to brew the perfect cup Bring fresh water to a full boil (212°F / 100°C). Place one tea bag in your mug and pour over the boiling water. Steep for 4 to 5 minutes, or longer if you prefer a deeper, more intense berry character. Remove the bag, no squeezing needed, and enjoy as is. No milk required. Also excellent chilled over ice for a refreshing cold brew. How does it compare? Lighter Berry: London Fruit & Herb Blackcurrant Tea Softer Fruit: London Fruit & Herb Blueberry Tea Our Take: Scotch & Abram's Berry Bliss Tea London Fruit & Herb's Blackcurrant and Blueberry teas are clean, unfussy fruit blends with a gentle character, well suited to those who prefer straightforward flavour without any functional additions. Aasana Berry Blast is fuller in body and more complex in its botanical mix, with the addition of Bcalm L-Theanine setting it apart as a blend with a specific relaxation focus. Scotch & Abram's Berry Bliss is our own house berry blend, crafted to a similar caffeine-free brief but with its own distinct character.
