Attach the lifting eye to a rated crane hook above the combined slab + lifter weight. Seat all four pads flat on clean, sound stone with no chips under the seals. Open the slide valve; wait for the gauge to reach the safe zone before lifting. Lift slowly and use the 0°–90° tilt to orient the slab. Set the slab down fully before releasing vacuum; confirm support, then vent the pads.
