Verus Engineering Splitter Air Dam Kit (GR/GV) - 2011-2014 Subaru WRX / STI

By incorporating the air dam into your WRX/STI, you effectively eliminate any potential airflow disruption between the bumper and the splitter. This crucially ensures that the maximum pressure differential across the top and bottom surfaces of the splitter is achieved during high-speed driving, resulting in a substantial increase in generated downforce. Additionally, the air dam contributes to aligning the splitter parallel to the road surface, further enhancing the performance of the front splitter. Furthermore, the improved airflow around the front bumper facilitated by the air dam can have positive aerodynamic effects on other components, such as our dive planes. Overall, the air dam is an exceptional enhancement for any front splitter on the WRX/STI chassis. Verus Engineering Splitter Air Dam Kit  SPECS: CNC Laser Cut 5052 Aluminum Construction Powdercoated Black for Durability Stainless Hardware Throughout Made in the U.S.A. FEATURES: Increase Front Splitter Performance Simple, Bolt-On Design Follows OE Bumper Contour INCLUDES: Air Dam, Left-Hand Air Dam, Right-Hand Hardware Kit, Includes All Hardware for a Seamless Install   MORE DOWNFORCE AND GRIP AT HIGHER SPEEDS Introducing the Verus Engineering WRX/STI Air Dam—a simple bolt-on accessory designed to elevate the performance of front splitters and enhance the overall effectiveness of any front splitter system. By effectively sealing off the area between the front splitter and the bumper, it prevents the escape of high-pressure air, resulting in a notable increase in the pressure differential across the splitter and a significant improvement in performance. This optimized airflow around the front bumper also benefits other components like dive planes, leading to enhanced performance across the board. For VA WRX/STI owners looking to maximize the potential of their front splitters and create a more comprehensive front splitter system, the addition of the air dam is highly recommended. Whether you're an avid track enthusiast or simply enjoy spirited driving, this kit is a valuable asset.
