Verus Engineering Brake Cooling Kit - 2013-2021 Scion FR-S / Subaru BRZ / Toyota 86

Improve your braking system with Project Mu's high quality bolt on brake cooling duct for the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ. The additional cooling will significantly reduce brake fade and rotor wear. These are direct fit behind the rotors and the 2 inlets can be connected to scoops or to vents in your bumper. Sold as a pair for front brakes. Note: Cooling hoses are not included Velox Motorsports has engineered and produced a track ready performance brake cooling kit for the 2013+ FR-S / BRZ. This kit is also available with just the backing plate for customers that want to customize their setups on their own. A0049A - Backing Plate Kit With the stainless backing plate for durability and properly formed and located dry carbon duct directing air into the center of the rotor, this is a great start to a do it yourself brake cooling kit. Increase endurance, life expectancy, resistance to brake fade, and resistance to boiling brake fluid by hooking up a 2.5" silicone brake hose to these backing plates and running cool air through the rotors. Designed to work with OEM and aftermarket big brake kits, this is a must for those looking to get the most from their brakes. Stainless hardware throughout and hard anodized aluminum spacers ensure the kit will remain rust free for the life of the units. NOTE: In some severe cases backing plate may need trimmed. IE: AP sprint kit with whiteline roll center adjusters due to lower control arm to rotor clearance being less than the thickness of the backing plate. AP Sprint BBK will fit without trimming on stock ball joints. Construction: Stainless backing plate Dry carbon air duct Hard anodized spacers Stainless hardware Foam for ABS sensor wire shielding Features: Dry carbon duct directing air into the center of the rotor Stainless backing plate further encouraging airflow into center of rotor Standard 2.5" brake duct hoses fit on duct A0037A - Full Brake Cooling Kit A well thought out and executed brake cooling kit which installs in an OEM type format with an emphasis on shortest route possible, maximizing cooling, and increasing the brake's ability to do their job by keeping them at a more reasonable temperature. Using the OEM fog lights as the inlet to the kit and a well formed duct in the inner fender line this is the brake cooling kit to have. At the knuckle the stainless backing plate and well formed carbon duct direct cool air into the center of the rotor to maximize cooling benefits. Kit comes with everything necessary for an install, including pre-cut hoses to length. Special Notes: OEM or similar fog light bezel is necessary for a seamless install. Winjet sells these for FR-S for $20 for both sides, Subaru sells these for the BRZ for $40 for both units. -Depending on wheels/tires/suspension setup, steering rack limiters may need to be installed (included in kit). -In some severe cases backing plate may need trimmed. IE: AP sprint kit with whiteline roll center adjusters due to lower control arm to rotor clearance being less than the thickness of the backing plate. AP Sprint BBK will fit without trimming on stock ball joints.
