A Sloth Called Sunny SET

A little story, a cuddly friend, and a gentle way to say, “I need a moment.” 💛 Meet Sunny the Sloth, a soft and comforting friend who helps little ones recognize when the world feels like too much — and gives them simple words to ask for the space they need. Sunny loves spending time with his jungle friends, but sometimes all the noise, chatter, and constant movement begin to feel too heavy for his gentle heart. His tummy ties in knots, and everything suddenly feels like a little too much. Instead of hiding away, Sunny learns a brave new phrase: “I need space, please.” He finds a cozy branch away from the crowd, takes a moment to breathe, and returns to his friends when he feels ready and lighter again. THE LITTLE SKILL: “I NEED SPACE, PLEASE.” A simple phrase little ones can learn to use when they feel overwhelmed and need a little room. Sunny helps them understand that it's okay to step away, take a moment, and come back when they're ready. And after the story is over, Sunny stays. The matching Sunny plush becomes a familiar cue for the skill they practiced in the story. When things start to feel like too much, seeing or cuddling Sunny can help bring those words back: “I need space, please.” Over time, Sunny becomes more than a cuddly friend — he becomes a little reminder that their feelings can be noticed, named, and communicated.
