A New Year on the Cimarron Canvas

Remington was born in New York in 1861 to parents who owned hardware stores and had emigrated from Alsace-Lorraine in the early 1700s. Another painting that features horses, Remington's great grandfather, was a saddle maker by trade, and the Remingtons were actually fine horsemen. Not the only famous artist in the family, did you know that bloodlines related Frederic Remington to Indian portrait artist George Catlin and cowboy sculptor Earl W. Bascom? "A New Year on the Cimarron" Gallery Wrapped Canvas comes delivered ready to hang, with wire hangers included and no additional framing needed. Every canvas print is hand-crafted and expertly stretched around wooden stretcher bars. We use premium canvases and inks to produce high-quality art.
